There are some exercises designed specifically for women. Some of these are to strengthen the pelvic floor. It’s not unusual for pelvic muscles to weaken as women age and / or have experienced childbirth. Just as important, is to do these CORRECTLY.

1. Some Core Exercises Are Contraindicated For Those With Prolapse

Here, Michelle Kenway, a physiotherapist, demonstrates how you can modify intense abdominal exercises if you have a prolapse. Of course, you should always check with your ob-gyn. Prolapses are varying in nature. Exercises must be individualied.
