Researchers found as many as one in four of those living in Great Britain lie about the amount of exercise they perform.
The study included 2,000 Brits.
Biggest lies include:
- distance cycled or run
- regularity of exercise
- general fitness levels
- pretending to exercise
Folks were found to lie to either:
- impress people
- avoid looking like they are lazy
