According to recent research from Finland, spending time in a sauna can slash your risk of “fatal heart events.”
In the study, men who used a sauna 4 – 7 times a week were 50% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease than those who only used a sauna once a week.
Additionally, frequent sauna users were 63% less likely less likely to experience sudden cardiac death.
How does this work?
As your body temperature rises, so does your heart rate.
This increase in temperature has been found to also help specific parts of your heart, increasing blood flow.
You give your heart an overall workout, without ever lifting a muscle!
