The lesser of 2 evils: skipping sleep or exercise? You may be surprised at the answer.
1. Manage Your Sleep First!
Getting less than 6 hours means your body is sleep deprived. Reactions are slow and can make you more prone to injuries. Performance and safety can suffer.
2.When A Nap Isn’t Possible
Sleep an extra hour (not 3!). It’s important to maintain a consistent time to wake up, but allowing a little extra sleep once in a while, won’t hurt you.
3.If Your Schedule Allows A Nap
If you’re able to take a nap during the day, then continue with your early workout. You want to keep up your natural rhythm as much as possible.
