Are you your own worst enemy first thing in the morning? You may not even realize you’re doing these things.
1.Do NOT Hit The Snooze Button
You won’t get any real sleep in those extra minutes, and it can just make you more tired. Not to mention, it can add more stress by making you late for work.
2.Leave That Phone Alone
Checking your messages and emails prior to even getting up can put you in a panic before you even get out of your pajamas. Take a little time to wake up first.
3.Don’t Forget To Exercise
Even if it’s just for 10 or 15 minutes, try to exercise when you get up. It’s a lot easier to put it off when you’re tired at the end of the night.
4.No Carb-Loading
Forget the muffins, bagels, pancakes and any other carbs. These will just slow you down.
5.Forget The Hot Shower
Yes, you read that right. A hot shower makes your muscles want to relax and that can make you more tired. Opt for a short, cold shower instead.
