1. Getting Healthy Is Not As Hard As You Think.
It’s not as expensive either. Eat lean protein, non-starchy vegetables and foods low in carbs. By the way, you CAN’T “outeat” a bad diet.
2. The Focus Should Be On Health.
Start today, never wait for tomorrow. Remember the adage: “Tomorrow is promised to no one.”
3. There Is No Downside To Exercising.
Exercise helps all your body systems. Your immune system is boosted. It allows you to handle stress better. Exercise can strengthen your heart and bones.
4. Look Upon Challenges As Being Healthy.
Life is challenging. Rising up to that challenge can only make us stronger. Sometimes, you may take baby steps, but at least you’re moving forward.
5. Ask Yourself “Why?”
You really need to take a step back and find out why you want to start exercising. Every person is different. That means their inspiration to exercise is different as well. Know your inspiration.
6. Set Daily Goals.
They do not have to be big. In fact, make your goals realistic, otherwise you are setting yourself up for failure.
7. It’s the “small hinges that move big doors.”
Integrate small changes into your daily routine. A protein shake, an invigorating walk, enough sleep can eventually yield the positive changes you are looking for.
