Whether you are working out indoors or out of doors, dehydration is always a danger.

Do you know the signs?

Most folks are familiar with increased thirst and a dry mouth.

You may also feel dizzy and weakness, which can proceed to fainting.

Heart palpitations may also develop. A person can become confused and suffer a decreased urine output.

Urine color also changes with dehydration. It becomes a deeper yellow color and much more concentrated. If these symptoms develop, you should immediately seek emergency care.

How do you prevent dehydration.

Make sure you are drinking adequate amounts of water, especially if you are exercising or live in a warm/hot climate!
