If staying fit was easy, we would all be in great shape.

One of the greatest barriers is that folks have too little time.

Ideally, it would be great if you could get up a little earlier to fit in a routine, but that’s not a solution for everyone.

So, here’s some ideas as to how to fit exercise into your daily routine.

Start parking your car farther and farther away from your place of work or when you go on errands.

You’ll be surprised how much more you’ll be moving. Take the stairs … if you can.

If you have knee problems, this may not be an option.

However, that does not mean you should give up on exercise.

Change your routine. If you typically go to the movies on the weekend, change it up and decide to take a walk instead.

Stretch regularly if you work at a sedentary job and squeeze in short walks during your workday.
